Why We Do It This Way

One prep standard. Every coating.

The finish is where the client looks. The prep is where the floor lives. Every system above starts the same way, diamond grind to CSP-2 or CSP-3, calcium-chloride moisture test, chemistry matched to your slab condition, and a broadcast or pigment phase timed to the thermal cycle of the concrete.

That’s the part most contractors cut. Which is why most contractors come back to the same garage three years later for a repair they could have avoided. We’d rather spend the extra day on day one. How Elite works →

Service Questions

Answers before you ask.

Which system is right for my floor?

Depends on use case, budget, and aesthetic. Garages under 1,000 sq ft with regular vehicle traffic usually land on flake or polyaspartic-over-flake. Commercial kitchens need chemical-rated flake or solid. Showrooms and luxury garages tilt metallic. Warehouses and restaurants tilt polished concrete. We’ll walk you through the tradeoffs on-site. Any system we don’t install is one we’ve been burned by or one that makes no sense in Texas conditions.

Can you install over an existing epoxy floor?

Sometimes, it depends on the state of the existing coating. If it’s well-adhered and chemically compatible, we can mechanically profile and top-coat. If it’s peeling, bubbled, or past its lifespan, the honest answer is grind it off and start clean. We’ll test a small section during the estimate before committing to either approach.

Do you install or just sell and sub out?

Install. The Elite crew does every floor hands-on. Justin runs the estimate, Justin (or a senior installer) runs the grinder, and the same two or three people are on your job from prep through topcoat. We don’t subcontract coatings work.

What’s the timeline from quote to finished floor?

Same-day response to your inquiry. On-site estimate within a few business days. Residential installs typically start 2-4 weeks out depending on the schedule. Install itself is usually 1-2 days on site, with light foot traffic next day and full cure in 72 hours. Commercial timelines depend on square footage, we’ll write a concrete window into the quote.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes. Every install carries a written workmanship warranty specific to the system used. If something isn’t right, we come back and fix it. We don’t sell the marketing “lifetime warranty” gimmick, the epoxy industry has no regulation and those promises vanish with the company that made them.

How do I see past work?

Start in our photo gallery, filter by project type, and tap any tile for project notes. If you want unedited behind-the-scenes footage, we post work-in-progress on YouTube and Instagram. Ask for a site visit at a completed project near you and we’ll arrange it during your estimate.

Not sure which system is right?

Most estimates start with a photo of the slab and a conversation about use. Send us the photo and we’ll point you at the service page that makes the most sense, or tell you why none of them do.
